Job Description

About the role:

The Director, Practice Management oversees and directs professional consulting practice activities of a subset of a functional and/or geographical area. Responsible for working with financial institutions to assess needs and develop solutions through individual contribution and/or leading subordinates to ensure the achievement of client satisfaction and contribution to divisional revenue and EBITDA goals. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as ability to influence senior management regarding matters of significance to the organization. Typically requires more than ten years of experience in banking or financial services. This role will be located at our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

What you will be doing:

* Leads large scale, fast paced change engagements, required to get up to speed on complex change immediately.

* Manages and maintains effective relationships across large projects

* Delivers successful change against defined benefits

* Manages project budgets and resource assignments ensuring budget allocation is adhered to
* Motivates project team members as to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard, within an efficient manner

* Contributes to divisional revenue, EBITDA and forecasting objectives.
* Makes timely, informed decisions and communicates rationale with factual accuracy and clarity to board level stakeholders
* Chairs internal committees covering subject matter expertise.
* Stays abreast of market and industry trends and project credibility in chosen area of expertise.
* Collaborates effectively with other leaders throughout Worldpay.
* Builds organizational structure to meet business goals and objectives.
* Demonstrates technical competence in assigned delivery
* Actively pursues opportunities to develop expertise and drive innovation.
* Analyzes management reports and implement strategies to improve business performance.
* Effectively pursues and applies best practices to advance business and company goals.
* Promotes continuous improvement while seeking opportunities to grow the business and individuals, adding value and maximizing profit.
* Understands and adheres to Worldpay policies and procedures, as well as governing laws and regulations.
* Complies with information security and risk management policies and take appropriate action to secure Worldpay' business environment.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you Bring:

* Experience within the Financial services or Technology sector preferred (FinTechs, Banking, Insurance, Tech)

* Leadership, management, organizational, and team building skills.
* Analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to build relationships with C-level management, peers and others.
* Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management.
* Speaks and writes fluently.
* Listening skills and ability to ensure open and candid two-way communication.
* Ability to expresses both facts and opinions clearly and concisely.
* Project management, productivity, planning, and workload management skills.
* Negotiation skills regarding complex issues
* Ability to work well under pressure and keep emotions under control during difficult situations.

* Relevant certification for area of expertise
