Job Title: Office of Experiential Programs (OEP) Contracts Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Office of Experiential Programs (OEP) is an essential entity in the organization of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. OEP has primary responsibility for the administrative aspects and educational outcomes of all experiential courses in the school's entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree program. In addition, OEP shares responsibility with Distance Degrees and Programs for the administrative aspects and the educational outcomes of all experiential courses in the school's non-traditional and international PharmD degree programs.

The Business Services Senior Professional is part of a dynamic team supporting introductory and advanced experiential placements in work sites such as community pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Coordination:

  • Coordinate contractual agreement implementation and renewal process between the School and practice sites in collaboration with applicable office staff and University Legal Counsel. Liaison between Experiential practice sites, Legal Counsel and the Office of Experiential Programs.

Contract and Administrative Requirement Administrator:

  • Ensure school and students are compliant with contractual agreements. Coordinate the completion of student background checks and drug tests. Coordinate the submission of site-specific requirements to participating practice sites while adhering to HIPAA & FERPA limitations.

Risk Management:

  • Support students in need of these services. Oversee risk management policies and procedures to align with University processes and requirements. Post information in appropriate areas for office personnel, student and preceptor reference and proactively communicate these details to office personnel, students and others as needed.

General Office Support:

  • These duties include but are not limited to: Support faculty in tracking grant funding and spending; Order and track office supplies as well as medical supplies for approved events; Process purchase orders and payment vouchers.

Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. Wednesdays are typically one of the two days so that employees can participate in "Work-from-Work" activities and meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, education, student affairs, public administration, communication, sociology or a closely related field.
    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • Two (2) years of experience in higher education administration in student affairs or the execution of contracts.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration, law, education, student affairs, public administration, communication, sociology or a closely related field.
  • Experience in any of the following settings: contract administration, quality assurance/control activities, higher education administration, higher education student affairs or project management.
  • Experience with course management systems, such as CORE, eValue, Canvas, Blackboard or eCollege.
  • Experience providing administrative and technical support to faculty in a higher education setting.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $60,514 - $76,974.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
