What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial forklift and vehicles to relocate product within a warehouse or production facility
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas after the product is produced
- Load and unload trailers, trucks, or pallets for delivery
- Ensure that products are stacked and stored in compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Forklift certified or a willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month
- Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy
- Work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Lift 50 pounds
Base pay range is $22.47 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
