As a member of the corporate marketing team, the Proposal Specialist helps coordinate the marketing and business development efforts for the sectors, practices, & clients Henderson pursues. This position will lead proposal development efforts in collaboration with our sector marketing leads, sector directors and practice leaders to develop distinctive win themes and supporting information that enhances our competition advantage.

Duties:

  • Provides project pursuit and proposal production for our firm.
  • Will work with marketing leaders across all six sectors: Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue.
  • Leads the submittal process, coordinating all necessary material for RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Writes and designs any content necessary for the project pursuit using Adobe InDesign.
  • Helps develop presentations and other necessary collateral for short-list interviews and manages preparation sessions for interviews.
  • Helps develop winning themes for project pursuits in coordination with sector marketing leaders.
  • Works with marketing database specialists, sector marketing managers, and the entire project capture team on process improvement for RFP/RFQ production
  • Helps improve marketing collateral production, maintenance, and database optimization for project pursuits.
  • Maintains marketing data regularly based on updates received during the proposal process.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications and/or business administration or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience required, preferably within a related industry such as architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional service.
  • Experience utilizing Adobe InDesign software.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience utilizing Deltek Vantagepoint and Open Asset.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Location Options:
