The Denveroffice of SmithGroupis looking for aProject Designer- Senior Livingto join our team.

Working with us, you will:

  • Create and develop planning and design concepts or support lead designers.
  • Mentor, provide oversight, and monitor the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive designs.
  • Present design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.
  • Supervise the development of renderings and presentation drawings for client presentations and internal meetings.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients.
  • Participate in recruitment and coaching process as requested.

An ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  • LEED AP preferred. Must be eligible to take the Architectural Registration Examination.
  • Working knowledge of engineering systems; can successfully engage with professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients and build client relationships and trust.
  • Strong mentoring, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience leading other designers and design teams.

SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $103,000 to $113,000 annually, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We offer 3 weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment, with the option of purchasing additional time off, 8 paid federal holidays, and parental leave benefits.
