The restitution technician performs a variety of moderately complex general clerical duties in completion of restitution for criminal cases on behalf of deputy district attorneys within the Victim Programs Unit. Works under the general direction of the Director of Victim Programs. General work assignments are the result of a variety of sources and require some analysis of facts to respond, prioritize and arrange; individual assignments are performed according to standard unit procedures and encompass a variety of operations for completion. Restitution technicians support the mission of the District Attorney's Office to protect the community and make the criminal justice system better and serve victims of crime.
