Your Title: Director, Customer and Partner Marketing

Job Location: Westminster, CO/ Open to Remote

Our Department/Sector: Owner & Public Sector

The Trimble Owner & Public Sector marketing team is looking for an individual who wants to leverage their unique combination of business, creative, and marketing expertise to lead our transformation towards making the customer voice central to our GTM motion. This role will require strong collaboration across product, sales, customer success, and marketing resulting in a unified vision, message, and strategy for building a customer advocacy program that builds trust, earns engagement, and cultivates a thriving community of customer champions.

What You Will Do:

Help create customers for life! Prevent revenue churn with existing customers by creating an extraordinary customer experience.You have a customer-first mentality. You are passionate about building programs that deliver customer value and can be scaled to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business. You are a skilled cultivator of both customer and internal relationships and will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their customer advocate needs.

Your Role:

  • Lead a team to plan, build and implement and deliver a successful customer reference program, building a community of eager customers who are willing to participate in 1:1 sales, industry reference and/or PR calls

  • Partner with Customer Success leadership teams around the world, to define new marketing programs and initiatives that drive software engagement, adoption and account retention.

  • Responsible for the Net Promoter Score (NPS) process and advises the business on what actions we can take to improve customer service to our clients.

  • Lead and own the Owner & Public Sector user conference, other industry events and the O&PS customer roadshow series

  • Build and nurture our customer advocacy program with customer appreciation that motivates and inspires advocacy, retention, and growth

  • Uncover the motivators and goals of our customers and partner cross-functionally to identify compelling opportunities for customers to engage with Trimble in both inbound and outbound programs

  • Facilitate our c-suite, sales, and marketing teams to hold conversations that incorporate real customer stories and proof points

  • Capture and develop stories that provide coverage for key go-to-market themes and product value statements

  • Drive engagement of customers to advocate for Trimble Owner & Public Sector on third-party review sites

  • Define global and regional joint marketing plans with strategic partners and resellers

  • Help translate annual strategic partner plans into actionable programs and campaigns.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • 10+ years marketing or communications leadership experience in a high-growth B2B/SaaS/Enterprise software company

  • Understand how to leverage various channels to generate a groundswell of positive awareness and perception

  • Ideally have public company experience and have been a part of intense growth

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proven track record of team leadership, strategic planning, and program execution

  • Strong team building and team management skills

  • Experience creating and running Customer Advisory Boards

  • Experience with Salesforce & Marketo preferred
