Incentives and Rewards
We believe in rewarding our COUNTRY ® Financial representatives as quickly as they are able to develop and demonstrate their abilities.Special events and trips We reward hard work with great play! Each year, COUNTRY Financial representatives and agency managers who excel are invited to participate in special incentive programs. Recent trips took top producers to New York City, Ireland, Hawaii, Desert Springs, and Big Sky Montana! Events include an annual sales convention and other regional activities where COUNTRY Financial representatives enjoy being recognized for their hard work. Salary We provide a base salary while you grow your book of business. For up to five years, you receive a competitive salary that increases based on your productivity. Commissions Give yourself a raise! In addition to your salary, sales commissions are paid on every line of business you sell. Sign-on bonus If you already have your Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses, you will receive a cash bonus of $1,500 upon hire. Designation bonus A $2,000 completion bonus will be paid to COUNTRY Financial representatives when earning their first professional designation including the ChFC, CFP, CLU, CPCU, and CIC. Financial assistance for marketing We want you to be successful! To help you achieve success, COUNTRY® offers a number of marketing tools and sales campaigns to help you cultivate new leads and build your client base. As part of our co-op program, COUNTRY will pay for half of the cost of your approved marketing and prospecting expenses. Benefit options For new financial representatives, COUNTRY provides comprehensive health and dental coverage with low-pay premiums. Additional benefits include group life insurance and long term disability insurance. Our long-term COUNTRY Financial representatives receive retirement income based on sales productivity. Training and Development
Our training program follows a “learn by doing” approach through comprehensive, client focused learning experiences that support COUNTRY® Financial's mission of providing Financial Security for all clients, no matter where they are starting from. These programs will build your confidence in meeting with clients and understanding the solutions we offer. You will have the knowledge, ability and confidence to successfully build your book of business. Web-based courses Web-based courses are foundational and will teach you the detail of COUNTRY’s products and services. The courses are interactive and provide real scenarios that will teach you how to identify client needs and provide solutions to fit those needs. Classroom training New COUNTRY Financial representatives travel to our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, IL for an 11-day program. During this time you will practice conducting interviews in a simulated environment using our unique and proven COUNTRY® sales process. Coaching You will receive field support from your Agency Manager and Marketing Business Consultant. Your Agency Manager will meet with you regularly to answer questions, discuss sales techniques and oversee your production. Your Marketing Business Consultant will help you design a personal marketing plan and establish sales practices that will increase your long-term success. Career development After your first three to five years, you will have completed the training phase and be prepared to become an independent contractor with COUNTRY. The renewal commissions you developed throughout training will be large enough to replace your salary and support your business. Although your initial training phase has completed, you can continue to count on training, marketing support and unparalleled customer service from COUNTRY Financial to help you achieve your goals.
